Online Tutoring Service Agreement

Effective Date: 01/07/2025

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Your Virtual Partner (“Provider”, “we”, “us”) and the parent or guardian enrolling their child (“Client”, “you”) in our Online Tutoring Program.

By purchasing or booking a tutoring session, you agree to the terms outlined below:

1. Services Provided

We provide online English tutoring services for Primary and High School students, delivered through scheduled 1-on-1 virtual sessions by qualified tutors. Services include lesson planning, learning support, and progress tracking.

2. Session Bookings

  • Sessions are conducted via secure online platforms (e.g., TEAMs or Kajabi Video).

  • Bookings must be made in advance via our booking system.

  • You will receive confirmation and access links via email.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule any session with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable and will count as a completed session.

  • If a tutor needs to cancel, a makeup session will be scheduled at your convenience.

4. Fees & Payments

  • Fees are outlined at the time of booking for the full term and must be paid in advance.

  • All prices are in AUD and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Technology Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring your child has:

  • A stable internet connection

  • A working device with camera, microphone, and speakers

  • Access to the selected online platform

6. Parental Supervision

  • For students under 13, a parent or guardian must be available during the first session.

  • Ongoing parental involvement is encouraged for better outcomes.

7. Tutor Conduct

  • Our tutors are vetted professionals and committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Any concerns about a tutor’s conduct must be reported immediately.

8. Student Conduct

We expect respectful behaviour and active participation during sessions. Repeated disruptions or inappropriate conduct may result in service suspension or cancellation without refund.

9. Privacy & Confidentiality

All student information and session content are confidential. We do not share your information with third parties without consent. Sessions may be recorded for training and quality purposes with prior notice.

10. Liability

We are not liable for any technical failures, interruptions, or outcomes beyond our control. While we aim to improve academic performance, results may vary depending on the student’s engagement and external factors.

11. Agreement Changes

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of changes via email or our website.
