Meet Hazel. Greetings! With years of experience teaching English both online and onsite, I am confident in my ability to make a meaningful difference in your learning journey. I believe that every learner is unique, talented, and capable of growth despite individual differences.

To keep my students motivated, I use scaffolding techniques and provide constructive feedback to support their progress. I strive to create a conducive learning environment where learners feel supported and empowered, with growth as a key objective in every session.

Academic Background: Licensed Professional Teacher, Ongoing Master's Degree in Basic Education Teaching at Ateneo de Manila University
Experience: 4 years of tutoring experience in English
Areas of Specialization: English for Specific Purposes, English as a Second Language. 

Our Journey Together (The YVP Process)

I am excited to partner with you and your child! Here is how we will ensure success:

  1. The 30-Minute Intro Call: Once you book, we will schedule a complimentary 30-minute introductory call. This is my chance to get to know your child’s goals and conduct a thoughtful assessment to tailor my teaching methods specifically to their unique way of learning.
  2. IXL Integration: We will use the IXL Learning Framework during our sessions. I use this tool to assign targeted practice and track your child's progress in real-time, ensuring we bridge any learning gaps effectively.
  3. Detailed Progress Reports: Communication is key! Every 4 sessions (or fortnightly), I will host a catch-up meeting with you to provide a detailed progress report. We want you to see exactly where your child is thriving and where we can offer extra support.
Simple, Transparent Pricing

We believe in straightforward, value-driven education. Whether you need a one-off deep dive or consistent support, we have a plan for you:

  • Standard Single Session: $44 AUD per hour.
  • Double Session Bundle: Book 2 sessions and pay only $33 AUD per Session ($66 AUD total). THAT'S A TOTAL SAVINGSS OF $22 AUD!
